Fidlar Technologies would like to recognize the Miller County, Arkansas office and the notable work they’ve done to support an important charity. In December of 2019, Miller County Circuit Clerk, Mary Pankey, and her staff held their annual raffle event, where, each year, they choose a charity to support and work to put together impressive gifts and gift baskets that they then raffle off to county residents. Any citizen who comes through the courthouse is given the opportunity to enter the raffle, whose proceeds all went to support Domestic Violence Prevention Incorporated in 2019, but Mary’s office also advertised the raffle through their local newspaper, on Facebook, and more.

This year’s event played host to a list of very desirable gifts, including full-blown spa days, certificates for restaurants in the community, 2 full-sized bikes, gardening baskets that caught many an eye, and more. With the help of these sought-after gifts, Mary and her staff were able to break all of their previous records, raising a whopping $2,050 – and every cent went to support the admirable work Domestic Violence Prevention Incorporated provides to communities across the nation. Mary Pankey and her staff brought a sense of family and comfort to their community in December and, with success like this, hopes are high for the future.

Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. is a a nonprofit organization that has provided services and advocacy to communities since 1979. “We host our annual raffle every year and, this year, we decided to give every dollar in proceeds to Domestic Violence Prevention Incorporated. We raffled off over 15 different gifts and gift baskets and raised the highest amount we ever have – over $2,000! We’re very glad to be able to support such an important cause.”Bethany Frederickson, Miller County Deputy Circuit Clerk
