Fidlar Technologies is proud to highlight the charitable contributions Pope County, Minnesota, Recorder, Sarah Green, and her community have made to those in need. With the help of local high school Minnewaska Area High School, the Prairie Lakes Chapter of Habitat for Humanity finished construction of a home for a 6-member family in 2019 and is nearing the finish line of another home this year.
Despite many challenges and setbacks the team has been faced with as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, progress has moved forward valiantly. Building permits for the home’s new location in the city of Starbuck, Minnesota, are one of the last hurdles Sarah and the Minnewaska Area High School students are dealing with. The home has been built and is awaiting its new destination pending the pouring and completion of its foundation. These homes represent a turning point for the families who end up residing in them, offering stability, shelter, and peace of mind. The Prairie Lakes Chapter Board, including Sarah, and the Minnewaska Area High School shop students, provide an ideal example of the type of person Fidlar Technologies is proud to partner with.
“We also recently have partnered with our local area high school Minnewaska Area District School for our future home builds. This build is the first one that the students have done, in the past they have built fish houses. This partnership is a great thing for our community. We are able to educate students that take an interest in a trade.”
