The Michigan Fidlar eByte: September 2017
AVID 4.2 will soon be rolling out into the offices of Fidlar County Partners, this version includes numerous enhancements and features developed specifically for the needs of the Recorder’s Office. As a user-driven upgrade, this version contains items that were suggested by existing Fidlar County Partners. Fidlar’s goal is to provide the best version of the tools necessary to perform the duties of the Official Public Record.
The technology used to upgrade AVID and its features are developed entirely by Fidlar and maintained internally. This means all aspects of AVID, powered by iNSPECT, are constantly being improved upon and updated to reflect the land recording industry’s best practices.
“There are a lot of timesaving changes that are in the new version of AVID. We really enjoy how within the Prep stage you can pull return addresses from previous documents, as well as from previous transactions. Also in the Prep stage, you can move the document stamp and the tax stamp. Another feature that we really love is that tax stamps will automatically print. These are just a few things that we love about AVID 4.2 and we can’t wait for everyone to be able to utilize it!” – Rachel Sanchez, Ottawa County Chief Deputy Register of Deeds
