Fidlar & DeWitt County Hosts MyDec Training Seminar

  • MyDec/AVID integration workshop sponsored by Fidlar
  • AVID helps offices keep compliant with legislation change
  • Commitment to Serving the Clerk/Recorder’s Office

Last month, Fidlar Technologies and the DeWitt County Clerk/Recorder’s Office jointly hosted a MyDec User Group Meeting for both Fidlar County Partners and non-partners alike. Officials met with Partner Relationship Manager Danielle Westerfield and Territory Manager Greg Bachman to discuss aspects of MyDec and how it integrates with the AVID land records management system. Lori Gadbois, from Kankakee County, and Josh Langfelder from Sangamon County assisted the discussion by covering the county perspective of MyDec.

Those in attendance were shown how AVID’s integration streamlines office procedures and provides seamless processing of PTAX forms with MyDec. The Fidlar Development Team worked alongside the Illinois Department of Revenue to ensure effective integration will provide essential functionality as well as compliance with legislation.

Thank you to all who attended and participated in this discussion. Collaborative efforts, such as this, help us to deliver innovative and robust tools to our partners.

“Through a collaborative effort with Danielle Westerfield and Greg Bachman of Fidlar, we held an on-site training session for MyDec in DeWitt County. I think the training went over very well and feel that the information presented allowed everyone to learn something. Everyone was shown how Fidlar’s pieces tied together with MyDec so that we can keep our offices compliant with the required processes. Fidlar has proven they do their best to help us do our best.” – Dana Smith, DeWitt County Clerk & Recorder
