The Missouri Fidlar eByte – May 2018
Audrain County Makes Complete AVID Transition
- Move to AVID provides smooth transition
- Ease of eRecording processes
- Fidlar installs, configures and trains on-site
- AVID integrates multiple recording functions
We are pleased to announce that Audrain County has fully transitioned to the AVID land records management system. Recorder of Deeds Janis Deimeke was interested in updating the technology in their office and with AVID they will be better prepared to execute eRecordings, reduce paper shuffle and improve the efficiency and integrity of Audrain County’s recording process.
AVID’s origin was centered on eRecordings to provide users with the ability to process and manage land records through a completely paperless workflow. When implemented, the AVID system provides the unique function to seamlessly accept submitted recordings for processing by the Recorder of Deeds Office. The AVID solution provides the advanced ability to mitigate turnaround time but also to increase the user’s ability to smoothly operate.
Fidlar Project Managers also travel on-site to train County Partners with our land records management system, AVID. Project Manager Kelly Seibert was in Audrain County to instruct users with the Best Practices of AVID. Once training was completed, Fidlar IT installed and configured the upgrade, allowing the county to quickly continue recording documents.
Additionally, Audrain County has implemented iNSPECT, the assisted indexing feature. When used in processing, iNSPECT greatly increases recording accuracy while decreasing the chances of typographical error. Features like iNSPECT, document imaging, redaction, eRecording functionality and much more are integrated witnin a singular system to maximze each and every office’s recording ability.
“Audrain County went live with AVID on June 7th. We’ve been enjoying it very much, particularly because AVID is able to handle eRecordings so easily. When working through a record, it’s obvious that AVID was designed to specifically handle this type of work. Through great software, helpful support and training and things like the Education Symposium, Fidlar proves that they are in it for the Recorder’s Office and I’m glad to be partnered with them.” – Janis Deimeke, Audrain County Recorder of Deeds
