It comes as no surprise to us that many of our county partners do more than just record Deeds — they perform goodDEEDS. We thought it would be a great idea to share as many of these stories as possible. By doing so we hope to bring awareness to various charities or organizations and build their momentum and effectiveness in achieving their very important goals.
We would like to recognize Cathy Ann Stacey, Register of Deeds in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, and her staff for their effort to bring cheer into their community. For the last five years, Cathy and her staff have gathered together and caroled for the residents of the Rockingham County Nursing Home the week prior to Christmas. Additionally, judges from the Probate Court and the County Attorney have lent their voices to bolster the spirits of residents.
The tradition began with the Rockingham County administrative departments caroling to neighboring departments of the courthouse. The activity eventually transitioned into caroling for the elderly within the community. Undoubtedly, the tradition raises the spirits of residents and will continue to be a tradition for Rockingham County for years to come.
Thanks again to Register of Deeds Cathy Ann Stacey and staff for their caroling efforts this holiday season.
