It comes as no surprise to us that many of our county partners do more than just record Deeds — they perform goodDEEDS. We thought it would be a great idea to share as many of these stories as possible. By doing so we hope to raise awareness of the various charities and organizations they contribute to. We want to build their momentum and effectiveness in achieving their very important goals.

We would like to recognize Becky Lynch, Lake County Recorder, OH for hosting an open house to educate students on the importance of the Recorder’s Office and the role it plays within the mortgage industry. Children from the School of Innovation in Willoughby-Eastlake traveled to the Recorder’s Office in Painesville to take a tour of the office. There, Becky and her stellar staff spoke about the office’s pivotal role within the county.

While the attentive students had treats of mini M&M’s, Becky explained the historical importance of the Recorder’s Office along with giving her own personal insights. As the duties of the Recorder were explained, the students listened with shared intrigue. Through informative projects like this, community members are provided with a clear narrative which allows for stronger understanding of the Recorder’s role and demonstrates its unique significance for the past, present, and future.

We would like to thank Becky for dedicating her time and effort to contributing to the community and beyond.
