Fidlar Technologies is proud to feature Greene County and the monumental shifts they are making as they begin exploring the world of AVID. Prior to signing on with Fidlar Technologies and AVID, Greene County had been relying on book and page, indexing from paper documents, and more. Now, with AVID’s powerful recording tools on their side, they can free up valuable time and effort while streamlining the recording process. Gone are the days of verifying documents from a report, and gone are the days of printing documents for recording books. Greene County’s early launch date shows eagerness and excitement for the beginning of their AVID journey.
AVID, powered by iNSPECT, is the leading assisted indexing tool in the industry. iNSPECT allows county staff to become data validators rather than data indexers, increasing the integrity of the indexing process. With less time spent hand-keying in data, staff members will verify the information iNSPECT finds right on the document, reducing chances for human error. Any index information that is left to be hand typed is input into AVID Entry, our simple, easy-to-use feature that allows users to index data into a singular field which is then populated appropriately by AVID. These tools, and a host of other useful options including imaging, back indexing, and more, make AVID the ideal program for counties looking to take a step forward in this digital age.
Setup was easy and straightforward for Debbie Banghart, Greene County Clerk and Recorder. With the help of Fidlar Technologies’ grade A support staff and Tracy Townsend, Greene County’s Project Manager, county staff has learned the ropes at an incredible pace. As Greene County continues to discover what AVID has to offer, they prepare for another new launch with Laredo/Tapestry, allowing for independent searchers to access the Official Public Record at their leisure. Greene County is blazing their own trail, making changes that will continue to benefit their office and their constituents well into the future.
“AVID has been great so far, and my staff and I love the way the system works. We went live just over a week ago, and we’re already making great progress. Tracy, our Project Manager, helped set us up and she was wonderful and thoroughly knowledgeable. We can’t wait to see what AVID has in store for us down the road!”
