The Maine Fidlar eByte: December 2017
We are pleased to announce that one of our newest County Partners, Hancock County, Maine has implemented our AVID land records management system, powered by iNSPECT! With AVID, Register of Deeds Julie Curtis and staff will be better prepared to execute eRecordings, reduce paper shuffle and improve the efficiency and integrity of Hancock County’s recording process.
Julie also decided to integrate the assisted-indexing feature, iNSPECT, which identifies key index information right on the document. iNSPECT adds elegant touchscreen enhancements to provide users with the most efficient and intuitive functions possible. With iNSPECT, Register of Deeds Julie Curtis will take her office and the Official Public Record into the future.
Hancock County constituents will also be provided with enhanced-access search tools like the subscription-based Laredo. Laredo allows constituents to retrieve documents securely and conveniently in their own workplace. Additionally, the mobile search tool Laredo Anywhere will be available for performing searches on popular mobile devices.
“The experience leading up to going live with AVID was excellent, I’m very happy to have moved Hancock County onto a new records management system. Having iNSPECT in the office will also be a great tool to assist us with increasing the integrity of the records processed in the office. AVID feels like the total package and it gives my staff the flexibility to manage things the way they need be managed.” – Julie Curtis, Hancock County Register of Deeds
