The Maine Fidlar eByte: May 2017

We are pleased to announce that the Hancock County Register of Deeds’ Office is now partnered with Fidlar Technologies in Maine. Register of Deeds Julie Curtis and staff will be using our land records management software solution, AVID, within their office. Hancock County constituents will also be provided with enhanced-access search tools like the  subscription-based Laredo and the online-based Tapestry. These tools will allow constituents to retrieve documents securely and conveniently in their own workplace.
Fidlar’s ingenuity and innovation within the industry advances land recording offices’ abilities by developing and providing the tools necessary to do so. With the AVID system, the Register of Deeds office will have a superior ability to handle and process eRecordings within their workflow, increasing turnaround time and decreasing paper shuffle. We would like to thank Hancock County for their partnership and their devotion to maintaining and protecting the Official Public Record.

“The Hancock County Registry of Deeds Office was looking for a software system that would provide all the features that we were accustomed to; eRecording, auto-indexing and an efficient recording module. AVID will provide us with all of that and more. My searching customers will be extremely happy with Laredo and all of the enhanced functionality it will provide. Ultimately, we wanted a sound product and to have support that would stand beside us through the transition and behind us once we were live. The support that Fidlar offers us is just as important as the software.” – Julie Curtis, Hancock County Register of Deeds
