The Michigan Fidlar eByte: March 2017

We are pleased to announce that the Marquette County Register of Deeds Office has integrated Paperless Recording into their office. With Paperless Recording, data is transferred between departments within the courthouse, electronically. Previously, tax documentation from the Treasurer’s Office would be submitted to the Register of Deeds’ Office and need to be completely re-processed for recording. With the integration in place, this type of additional workload is mitigated for staff while adding efficiencies to the daily workflow within the office.

“I’ve been very happy with the results. The additional work coming from other offices within the courthouse would typically be fairly time intensive for us. Now it is available to us instantly and it will be saving us a huge amount of time. It’s good working with a vendor that is looking for ways to help make our jobs easier. We most certainly have been able to increase efficiencies as a result of the integration.” – Carla L’Huillier, Marquette County Register of Deeds
