Being a longtime established partner of the Recorder’s Office, Fidlar offers products and services meant to enhance the work of every County Partner in the state. This is why we were readily available to assist new officials taking office at the start of 2019. The Fidlar team was available onsite and remotely to provide training and technical support and to educate the new officials regarding all aspects of Fidlar service and partnership. Our efforts were meant to ensure that every County Partner was adequately prepared to fulfill their all-important role from the beginning.

Once an office has been onboarded as an Indiana Fidlar County Partner, they work closely with Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) Greg Sullivan who serves as their main point of contact. The PRM then maintains a direct line of constant communication between the Fidlar office and the Recorder’s Office. The PRM program is a unique aspect of the Fidlar experience, intended to provide accessibility, professionalism, and resourcefulness to the Recording Office.

Fidlar has long held a focus that is exclusive to the needs of the Clerk/Recorder’s Office. Our focus is to provide a superior partnership experience which lead to the development of the Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) program. Through this program, the state PRM serves as a dedicated, on-site resource to assist with the planning and implementation of changes within the Clerk/Recorder’s Office.

The Illinois Partner Relationship Manager Danielle Westerfield has traveled to the offices of County Partners to provide assistance with both MyDec training and, more recently, predictable recording fee implementation. Through collaborative efforts between County Partners and the PRM, we are able to assist with the configuration of the AVID system settings to comply with predictable fee legislation in the state. Exact detail was taken to allow for appropriate changes to be made so that a full transition to flat fees could be made by every office. With the appropriate fees in place, the AVID recording system will continue to account for every document type and will properly distribute funds per transaction.

We would like to congratulate our Illinois County Partners for their efforts and work to adopt predictable recording fees within their offices. We are always pleased to share with our County Partners the progress of every Fidlar-partnered office in the state; which is why we would like to recognize the Holmes County Recorder’s Office for their five year partnership.

Through this partnership, Holmes County is able to utilize software products and services that are essential to the recording industry. Through our premier land recording software system, AVID, Powered by iNSPECT, Fidlar can assist with increasing the abilities of every user.

AVID, along with the remote-access tool Laredo, are routinely upgraded to increase their overall value to the user, over and over. Items like the assisted-indexing application, iNSPECT, increase data consistency that is sought by both the public and private sectors.

Holmes County will also utilize the AVID BASTION hosted-server environment which provides a higher degree of security against growing cyber threats and natural disasters. Official data will be stored and hosted with Fidlar production servers that are backed up to a secondary off-site repository. Recorder Anita Hall will have peace-of-mind knowing that their Official Public Record will remain secure and maintained to the highest degree.

When offered, Laredo provides an added convenience to constituents searching records by making them available online. Both industry professionals and the general public are able to access the county repository in a secure manner outside of the courthouse. These tools offer a stronger and faster service for users to perform necessary tasks. Fidlar’s enhanced-access tools are maintained to serve as the best search option in the marketplace for every constituent.

Along with being advocates for the Circuit Clerk Office, we want to provide superior technical support to County Partners that utilize our AVID land records management system. The Fidlar Support Team is made available through a variety of convenient communication channels: phone call, email or online chat. Our experienced support specialists are dedicated to assisting with any requests the Circuit Clerk Office may have. The specialist team is on-site, providing the ability to assist in real-time during operating hours.

Our support specialists not only provides technical assistance to County Partners, but we also take support calls from professionals searching with Laredo/Tapestry, Property Fraud Alert subscribers and Official Records Online customers.

With a focus that is exclusive to the Register of Deeds Office – we offer a unique partnership program with the Partner Relationship Manager (PRM). A unique facet to Fidlar, the PRM‘s sole purpose is to regularly meet with each County Partner in their office to help achieve long-term goals. Once they are appointed, the PRM becomes your main point-of-contact, making sure to keep your office informed with deliverables such as the Annual Dashboard and hosting collaborative events like the User Group Meeting.

Fidlar Project Managers also travel on-site to train County Partners with our land records management system, AVID. Recently, Project Manager Chase Gridley was in Shawnee County to instruct how to best utilize the upgraded version of AVID 4.2. Once training was completed, Fidlar IT installed and configured the upgrade, allowing the county to quickly continue recording documents.

Laredo Desktop, the subscription-based search tool, is another software product that received a large upgrade. PRM Mark Lystiuk was on-site in Shawnee County to provide Laredo training sessions for local searchers. Having on-site training permits that the users get close-up exposure to the new features and to provide the opportunity to have a Fidlar representative answer any questions about the service.

Once the searching professional is using the product, they also have the option to contact Fidlar Support. Our support specialists not only provides technical assistance to County Partners, but we also take support calls from professionals searching with Laredo/Tapestry, Property Fraud Alert subscribers and Official Records Online customers.
